Who doesn’t love the energy of a new year? While every day invites opportunities for a fresh start, I love feeding off the joint excitement of a wipe slate. With plenty of trial and error under my belt, I’ve learned to ditch the detoxes, cleanses, and restrictive routines in favor of a increasingly sustainable—and frankly, inspiring—approach. Considering really, who wants to spend their energy on anything that doesn’t finger good? So, I planned this January skillet list to uncurl with that intention.
Though a simple shift of the timetable doesn’t negate the challenges we’re still delivering with us into 2024, there’s something well-nigh a new year that just feels hopeful and refreshing. A January Skillet List to Inspire Your Fresh Start
While new years past have centered virtually goal setting, trip planning, timetable scheduling, and socializing, this time virtually I’m keeping things simple. As we throne into a new year, I’m focusing on what really matters, and the things that make me finger the most alive. Whether it’s amping up my self-care, discovering new music, bingeing a new series, or connecting with others, there are so many ways we can awaken the joy inside us every day. Scroll on for our January skillet list with ideas that are sure to leave you feeling relaxed, energized, and ready for whatever 2024 brings.
No matter what’s overdue us, January is a time to regroup, set intentions, and get inspired for the year to come.

50 Ideas to Add to Your January Skillet List
1. Make a new playlist. There’s nothing like new music to leave us feeling refreshed and inspired for the year to come. Curate a trademark new mix of tunes to work, run, clean, cook, and live to.
2. Binge-watch all the weightier new shows. I’m counting lanugo until the end of the month when Vanderpump Rules returns with season 11. And yes—I will be watching the new season of Bluey despite having no one in my household under the age of 25.
3. Find your new favorite workout. No, you don’t have to join a gym or sign up for a cycling membership just considering it’s January. But if you want to find a new way to move your soul with joy, that’s something we support. Have you discovered the simple pleasure of taking a walk? Do you know how good it can finger to stretch out surpassing hopping into bed? Can you work in a quick Pilates routine surpassing diving into work? Ask what will finger good for you and work with your life and follow those cues.
4. Melt your way through our favorite soups. The time to be cozy is now—these easy soup recipes will help.
5. Tidy up your digital space. Every January skillet list should include this. It’s nonflexible to come when to work with a well-spoken throne when your desktop is full of junk. Wipe out your old downloads, remove unused apps, and delete unnecessary files so you can start fresh.
6. Shop your favorite local businesses. Whether it’s your regular restaurant, neighborhood boutique, or small grocer, don’t forget to support some of the local businesses that midpoint the most to you.
7. Send a handwritten card. Nothing brings me greater joy than writing or receiving a handwritten note. And while long, touching reports are lovely to open, the sentiment of a simple sweet vellum is just as wonderful to receive.
8. Get a throne start on spring cleaning. Sure, March and April may mark our natural starving for a cleaner, clutter-free home, but there’s no largest time than the present to uncork the process. Steal our tips for getting a jump-start on our favorite time of year (yes, really).

Inspired to create a change, I started going to bed earlier, turning off my tech an hour before, and getting into bed with my periodical and a book. Like you would with holiday cards, start creating, writing out, and addressing your own V-Day notes. It’s one of my favorite ways to let the people in my life know they’re loved.
